Man Murders Sister’s Husband over Illicit Affair with Wife; Arrested Along With Wife, Friend

Chandigarh: A man, his wife, and his friend were arrested by police on Tuesday for killing his sister’s husband at their rented house at Baskhushla village in Manesar district of Haryana.

According to initial investigation by the police, the victim identified as Ramparicham Sharma (27) was killed over his illicit relationship with the accused Panchdev Thakur’s wife Indu. Both the victim and the accused were from Madhubani in Bihar. Panchdev’s friend Chandan Thakur from Madhubani was accomplishing in the murder.

The body of Ramparicham was packed in a drum and was dumped in a drain in Manesar. It was recovered on Saturday. The body was found to be tied with a saree. The victim’s throat was reportedly strangled with an electric wire.

Following investigation, police nabbed the trio accused from Baskhushla village on Tuesday.

During interrogation, Panchdev revealed that the deceased had developed an extra-marital relationship with his wife, Indu, for which he eliminated the victim.

He made a plan to kill Ramparicham along with his wife Indu, and on August 14, they called the victim to their home. He and his wife strangled Ramparicham with an electric wire and hid the body in their house.

On August 15, the accused, along with his friend Chandan Thakur, disposed the body in the drain after packing it in a blue drum.
