Man Slits Bengaluru Airport Staff’s Throat Alleging His Affair with Wife 

Bengaluru: A man murdered a trolley operator at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport by slitting his throat on Wednesday alleging that the victim was having an illicit affair with his wife.

The victim, Ramakrishna (45), was attacked with a machete near the parking area of the accused named Ramesh at around 7 pm. According to the police, Ramesh confronted Ramakrishna at the airport. In a fit of rage, he fatally slashed Ramakrishna’s neck with a machete.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru North East Division, said as the accused, Ramesh, was travelling by bus, his bag was not scanned, which allowed him to bring the weapon into the airport premises.
