Mayurbhanj Horror: Widow Brutally Slain, Disrobed Body Found in Forest

Baripada: In a disturbing turn of events, the lifeless body of Topai Mahanta, a 45-year-old widow, was discovered in the Budharana forest near Jatapani village, Mayurbhanj district. The victim, widow of Ganeswar Mahanta from Rumapahadi village, bore the marks of a brutal assault and appeared to have been bludgeoned to death by unknown assailants.

The grim discovery was made by local youths who came across the disrobed body in the morning. Immediately, law enforcement was alerted, and a probe team swiftly arrived at the scene to launch a comprehensive investigation.
