Punjab Police Arrests Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Member in Mohali, Foils Sensational Crimes

Punjab: Punjab Police on Wednesday announced the arrest of Sachin alias Bacchi, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in Kharar, Mohali. The arrest was made based on credible intelligence, and Sachin was found to be involved in providing logistical support to the gang’s members.

Police recovered four pistols and 12 live cartridges from Sachin’s possession. Preliminary investigations revealed that Sachin and other gang members were conspiring to carry out attacks as directed by their foreign handlers.

Sachin had a prior criminal record and was a wanted individual by Punjab Police. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Arms Act in Mohali.

The investigation remains ongoing, and further recoveries and additional arrests from this criminal module are anticipated.
