Suspecting Illicit Affair Chhattisgarh Man Kills Wife, 3 Minor Children

Raipur: A man named Umendra Kewat (34) allegedly murdered his wife and three minor children at Hirri village in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district over suspicion of her extra-marital affair.

He committed these four murders late Monday night. Police have arrested the accused.

According to police sources, Kewat allegedly strangled his wife, two daughters aged 4 and 5 and a 2-year-old son. The reason was that Kewat suspected that his wife was having an illicit relationship with some other person.

The accused has been booked on charges of murder. Further investigation is on into the incident.
