Tantrik Rapes Woman to Solve Her Domestic Problems in MP

Bhopal: A 38-year-old self-proclaimed tantrik was arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district on Monday on charges of raping a woman on the pretext of solving her domestic problems, reported India Today.

According to police sources, the victim had approached this self-proclaimed tantric to solve the domestic problems she was facing. The tantric had told the superstitious accused that a spirit hiding within her was the root cause of all her problems.

The accused tantrik also told the woman that this spirit can be appeased if she would have physical relations with him.

Following it, the accused allegedly raped the woman on several occasions. When the woman came to know that she had been deceived and protested, the tantric even threatened to kill her and her husband.

A case has been registered against the arrested accused under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
