Teddy Bear Catches Drug Traffickers on Valentine’s Day in Peru

Disguised as a teddy bear, a police officer helped the security personnel nab two Peruvian women accused of drug trafficking on Valentine’s Day.

These arrests were made during a police raid in the garb of a romantic gesture. Police footage of the raid showed a giant teddy bear holding up gifts outside the women’s house. Another officer in plain clothes held a heart sign reading “You are my reason to smile”.

When one of the women came out to take the gifts, the teddy bear pinned her to the ground. The police team rushed inside to nab the other woman.

It was a surprise operation of the Peruvian police as part of the day of love. The arrested women were a mother and daughter, involved in selling cocaine paste and marijuana from their home in northern Lima.

Hundreds of packets of drugs were seized from their house.
