Watch: How Speeding Plane Hits Fire Truck in Peru Killing Two Firefighters

A passenger plane collided with a fire truck during takeoff at Peru’s Lima airport on Friday. Two firefighters were killed in this accident. The plane crashed on the runway after the collision.

Luckily none of the 102 passengers and crew members on board lost their lives in this accident.

A video clip of this incident shot by eyewitnesses is making rounds on social media.

The ill-fated passenger plane was an Airbus A320. It was on its way to Juliaca from Lima. Even after hitting the fire truck, the plane sped on the runway emitting flames and smokes.

The passengers and crew members were rescued in time. Immediate medical assistance was provided to them.

Airport operations at Lima airport were suspended “until further notice.”
