Former Bihar MLA Ranjan Tiwari has been arrested from Raxaul bordering Nepal. He was wanted by the UP Police for allegedly firing at the police. But while Ranjan was in a hiding state for 20 years, the police failed to catch him. The police announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for capturing Ranjan.
Ranjan was MLA from Bihar Gobindganj assembly seat. In 1998, he fired at Gorakhpur police in UP.
