Waiter Beaten to Death in Wedding Feast as Used Plate Touches Guests

Ghaziabad: Three persons were arrested by police in Ghaziabad concerning the murder of a waiter at a wedding reception in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad in November. The victim named Pankaj faced the lethal attack because used plates carried by him touched some of the guests.

The victim Pankaj was working as a waiter at Ankur Vihar’s CGS Vatika. He faced the attack on November 17. Some used plates being carried by Pankaj accidentally touched Rishabh and two of his friends, Manoj and Amit, who were guests at the wedding ceremony.

The trio beat up Pankaj ruthlessly for this. Pankaj died on the spot. The assailants hid Pankaj’s body in a nearby jungle. Police recovered the body on November 18.

Later investigation led to the arrest of the three assailants.
