Aspirants hold online protest for the rescheduling of OPSC ASO exam

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission’s (OPSC) much-awaited recruitment examination for ASO (Assistant Section Officer) exam was going to be held on the 21st of this month, but it was postponed due to flood to the 27th of August.

Till now the flood situation has not improved. The water level has decreased but still, it is quite impossible for the people affected by the flood to step out of their houses. In such a situation, the aspirants are demanding to postpone the exam for some time.

The flood situation in places like Subarnapur, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj is worsening. Hence students are demanding the Odisha Public service Commission, the exam conducting body, and the government of Odisha to reschedule the exam as it is not possible for many aspirants to reach the examination center. Meanwhile, OPSC has not given any reaction to this yet.
