Bobby Deol May Become Kumbhakarna, Lara Dutta Kaikeyi in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan

Mumbai: Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is keen to have Bobby Deol on board to play the part of Kumbhkarna in his cinematic version of the Ramayan, reported Pinkvilla. Tiwari is also in advanced talks with Lara Dutta to play the part of Kaikeyi in his mythological mega-movie. Talks are also on with Sunny Deol for Lord Hanuman’s role, added Pinkvilla.

Nitesh Tiwari has planned to produce the Ramayana as a trilogy. Lara as Kaikeyi will have a major role in Ramayana: Part One. She is expected to join Ranbir Kapoor in the first schedule of the film in March.

In this movie, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi will play the role of Sita in Ramayan, and Kannada actor Yash of KGF fame will be the demon king Ravana.
