Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor Kiss Scene Special Attraction in Animal’s OTT Version

Mumbai: Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi film, Animal, has set cash registers ringing. Speaking about the last fight scene in the movie to The Quint, Bobby Deol revealed that estranged cousins Abrar played by Bobby and Ranvijay by Ranbir Kapoor were supposed to share a kiss in the scene.

This kiss scene was edited out in the version that was released in theatres. Bobby Deol explains how Sandeep envisioned and executed the scene, “He said, ‘You’re fighting, and you suddenly kiss him, and then you don’t give up, and he kills you’.

“There was a kiss. I think it might come on the uncut Netflix version,” Bobby Deol revealed.

According to reports, ‘Animal’, which has a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes will be released in a longer version on the OTT.

The OTT version of the movie will be 30 minutes longer than the original runtime in movie theatres. The OTT version will feature the scenes that have been edited in the theatrical version.

Directed by Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. The film is being criticized for portraying morally bankrupt characters and excessive violence.
