Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ Will Bring Together Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal

Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next film titled ‘Love and War’ on January 24. In this proposed grand movie, Bhansali will bring together three Bollywood stalwarts – Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. They will be seen together on the screen for the first time.

While the makers have not spilled out details on the movie, it is said that the film is a homage to Raj Kapoor’s 1964 movie Sangam. An insider told Pinkvilla, “It’s an original love story set against the backdrop of War. It’s a homage to the 1964 classic, Sangam directed by Raj Kapoor.

This movie will be Ranbir and Alia’s second collaboration with the director after ‘Sawariyaa’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ respectively, and the first with Vicky.

Sharing the announcement, Vicky wrote on social media, “An eternal cinema dream has come true (sic).” Meanwhile, Alia shared the news with a heart-on-fire emoji.

Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ is scheduled to be released in theatres on Christmas 2025.
