Morari Bapu Surpasses Ambani and Adani, Emerges Top Donor for Ayodhya Ram Temple

Ayodhya: The grand consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya continues to resonate with devotees, as offerings pour in from across India and beyond. On the very first day after the historic ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, an anonymous online donation of Rs 3.17 crore set the tone for an outpouring of generosity.

Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust trustee Anil Mishra revealed that 10 dedicated donation counters were operational on the momentous day, alongside a seamless online platform receiving contributions from a global devotees.

This overwhelming response translates to over five lakh devotees visiting the temple both on Tuesday and Wednesday, demonstrating the temple’s profound significance.

While donations continue to arrive, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust website paints a heartwarming picture of individual and organizational largesse. Spiritual leader Morari Bapu emerged as the top donor, pledging a staggering Rs 11.3 crore towards the temple’s construction. This sum is further bolstered by an additional Rs 8 crore contributed by his dedicated followers residing in the US, Canada, and the UK, bringing the total contribution from his organization to a remarkable Rs 19.3 crore.

Dilip Kumar V Lakhi and family, prominent diamond merchants from Surat, exhibited extraordinary generosity by gifting 101 kg of gold, valued at around Rs 68 crore. This gold will be utilized to adorn various elements of the mandir. Gujarat’s Govindbhai Dholakia, a diamond baron, contributed Rs 11 crore.

It’s noteworthy that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust website highlights the site’s historic and worship significance, rendering donations eligible for tax deductions under Section 80G(2)(b) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
