Craze for World Cup Cricket Final Dips Tiger 3 Box Office Earning to Lowest on Sunday

Because of the ICC World Cup final played between India and Australia, the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3 registered its lowest single-day box office collection of Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday.

According to a report by Sacnilk.com, Tiger 3’s Saturday collection was Rs 18.5 crore. But it dipped to Rs 10.25 crore nett on Sunday. Most viewers preferred to watch the final match rather than visiting the theatres to watch the YRF Spy Universe movie.

With Sunday’s earnings, the total collection of the Salman-starrer in India reached Rs 229.65 crore. The film’s worldwide income stands at Rs 357 crore in its first week in theatres.

The Tiger franchise has Salman Khan as super spy Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger and Katrina Kaif as his wife Zoya.
