5th Accused Arrested in Salman Khan House Firing Case from Rajasthan

Mumbai: Another accused was arrested from Rajasthan on Monday in the case related to the shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence in April 2024.

The arrested fifth accused was identified as Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary.

According to police sources, Chaudhary had direct involvement in the firing incident as he allegedly financed the operation.

Four others were earlier arrested in connection with the case. Out of them Anuj Thapan allegedly committed suicide while in police custody.

Apart from Thapan, Mumbai police also arrested Sonu Bishnoi, and alleged shooters Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta in connection with the firing incident.

Thapan, accused of supplying the firearms and ammunition used in the shooting, was arrested on April 26 from Punjab alongside Sonu Bishnoi.
