India-Pakistan Lesbian Influencer Couple Break Up Before Wedding

Social media influencers and same-sex couple, Anjali Chakra and Sufi Malik called off their upcoming marriage ceremony. Anjali hails from India and Sufi is from Pakistan. Both are based in the US and are social media influencers.

Anjali and Sufi flaunted their lesbian relationship for years. Both of them shared the news of their breakup on social media and Sufi’s infidelity was described as the reason behind their split. The couple made headlines in 2019 for being in a same-sex relationship, while also celebrating their traditional South Asian culture, although LGBTQ+ issues are considered taboo in several Asian countries.

About the break up, Anjali said in an Instagram post, “This may come as a shock, but our journey is shifting. We have decided to call off our wedding and end our relationship due to infidelity committed by Sufi.”

Sufi in her post said, “I made an unrecognisable mistake of betrayal by cheating on her a few weeks before our wedding. I’ve hurt her tremendously, beyond my understanding. I am owning up to my mistake and will continue to do so.”

Anjali Chakra is an Indian event planner and content creator based in New York City. Sufi Malik, 27, is a Pakistani Instagram personality known for her lifestyle and fashion content shared on her social media.

Sufi became famous for her lesbian relationship with Anjali Chakra, and many of her Instagram posts described their love and spoke about LGBTQ+ representation and acceptance. She was also part of the couple’s joint YouTube channel, Sufi and Anjali.
