Kartik Aaryan Set To Replace Akshay Kumar In Hera Pheri 3

Mumbai: Khiladi Kumar will not be there in Hera Pheri 3. Hera Pheri 3 is in the making and features Kartik Aaryan, confirmed Paresh Rawal – everyone’s favourite Babu Bhaiya. Rawal confirmed Kartik Aaryan’s involvement with the movie in a tweet reply on Friday. Rawal was tagged in a tweet by an Akshay Kumar fan asking, “Paresh Rawal sir, is it true that Kartik Aaryan is doing Hera Pheri 3?” to which “Yes, it’s true,” Rawal retorted.

If reports are to be believed, Kartik Aaryan will take on the role of Raju, which was previously portrayed by Akshay Kumar in the movies Hera Pheri (2000) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006).

The Hera Pheri franchise’s first two movies both enjoyed tremendous box office success.

The major actors in the Priyadarshan-directed 2000 movie, Hera Pheri-I were Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Tabu. Whereas its sequel in 2006 was directed by Neeraj Vora starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav, and Rimi Sen.

The filmmakers have not yet confirmed the rumours of Kartik Aaryan’s entry into the scheme of things.

Kartik Aaryan recently appeared in the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also starred Kiara Advani. The movie was a follow-up to Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa from 2007.

Meanwhile, the news of Kartik replacing Akshay in the Hera Pheri series has left many fans angry. “NO HERA AKSHAY NO HERA PHERI3” started trending on Twitter as a protest against the makers of the film.
