King Khan to Start Shooting of Next Film by April 2024

Shah Rukh Khan, who is now 58 years old, will begin shooting for his next film by April 2024.

“I think I will start one (movie) in March-April now,” he said in an interview with Middle East media organisation MBC. He expressed his desire to play more age-appropriate roles in his upcoming films.

“I think one of the few things in Indian films we missed out on is that people can play their age and play the star still,” he said, citing examples of Hollywood stars like Mel Gibson and George Clooney.

Shah Rukh hoped that he would do an action film that is more “age-real”.

Shah Rukh thanked the members of the Saudi film board for their support during the filming of Dunki, the first Indian film to be shot in Saudi Arabia.

He appeared in three films in 2023, including the record-breaking hits Jawan and Pathaan. Dunki, starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani alongside Shah Rukh, released on December 21.
