‘Panchayat Season 3’ Shooting Complete, Stills from Sets Released

Mumbai: To tickle the waiting fans, Amazon Prime Video shared stills from the sets of ‘Panchayat Season 3’, on Saturday,

“We know the wait is unbearable, so we got you a lil something from the sets! #PanchayatOnPrime Season 3,” Amazon Prime Video wrote alongside two pictures.

The first photo featured lead actor Jitendra Kumar on his bike. The other photo featured Ashok Pathak, Durgesh Kumar and Faisal Malik as Prahlad, Bhushan and Vinod.

This realistic satire on Indian rural life also features Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta in key roles. Neena Gupta, who plays the role of Manju Devi in the series, recently shared a video on Instagram, announcing the completion of the shoot for the third season. “Wrap up of the 3rd season of Panchayat!,” she wrote.

Panchayat won the Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

‘Panchayat 3’ follows the journey of Abhishek Tripathi, played by Jitendra Kumar, who is sandwiched between his aspirations of pursuing an MBA and his job as a panchayat secretary in a village.
