Ponniyin Selvan 2 Likely To Hit Theatres In April 2023

Chennai: Director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, which is currently in the post-production phase, is likely to hit the theatres in April 2023.

According to reports, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is likely to hit the theatres on April 28, 2023.

However, an official confirmation regarding the release date is yet to be out.

Ponniyin Selvan is based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamurthy.

The film boasts a star-studded cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhitha Dhulipala, and Vikram Prabhu play supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman.

The first part of Ponniyin Selvan collected over Rs 450 crore worldwide and is still continuing its run in selected theatres across the globe.

The film ended up as a huge blockbuster.
