‘Snowdrop’ Star, Korean Actress Park Soo-Ryun Dies at 29 After Fall

Seoul: Park Soo-Ryun, a popular Korean actress who was last seen in the hit television series “Snowdrop,” died on June 11 after falling down the stairs. She was 29.

The accident occurred on the night of June 10, when Park was returning home from a performance. She fell down a flight of stairs and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Doctors pronounced her brain dead on June 11.

Park’s family has decided to donate her organs in her honour.

Park was born in 1994 and made her debut in 2018 with the musical “Il Tenore.” She went on to appear in a number of musicals, including “Finding Mr. Destiny,” “The Days We Loved,” “Siddhartha,” and “The Cellar.”

She also appeared in the JTBC historical drama “Snowdrop” alongside Blackpink’s Jisoo and Jung Hae-in. In the series, she played the role of a detained university student who was later released by authorities.

Park’s death is a shock to the Korean entertainment industry. She was a rising star with a bright future ahead of her. Her fans and colleagues are mourning her loss.
