Singham Actor Ravindra Berde Passes Away at 78

Mumbai: Veteran actor of Hindi and Marathi films, Ravindra Berde, breathed his last at the age of 78. He was the brother of the legendary comedian Laxmikant Berde. He is best known for his role in Ajay Devgn starrer blockbuster ‘Singham’.

He was suffering from throat cancer and died of a heart attack on Wednesday morning.

He has acted in over a hundred films in both Hindi and Marathi languages.

Ravindra Berde is survived by his wife, two children, daughter-in-law, and a grandchild.

Berde is also remembered for his role in Anil Kapoor in ‘Nayak: The Real Hero,’ in 2001. Additionally, his role as Zamindar Chandrakant in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham’ still lingers in the minds of cine audiences.
