Sunny Deol, Ayushman Khurrana Expected to Star in “Border 2”

Mumbai: JP Dutta is joining hands with Bhushan Kumar to come up with a sequel to the 1997 hit, ‘Border’.

As per reports, it may have Sunny Deol and Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead. This movie will be about the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

Reportedly, Ayushmann Khurrana is in advanced talks to star alongside Sunny Deol in this movie, which will be their first film together.

The project is being produced by Bhushan Kumar in association with JP Dutta, who directed the original film “Border”.

Shooting of “Border 2” is expected to start in the middle of next 2024 and hopes to replicate the success of Sunny Deol’s recent blockbuster ‘Gadar 2.’

The film aims to be India’s biggest war film. Like the first film, the sequel will be based on true events. According to industry insiders, the final draft of the screenplay is in progress.
