Watch: Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ Trailer Released

Mumbai: The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s political drama, ‘Emergency’ was released on Wednesday.

It was shared by Ranaut on social media. In this movie, she plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The trailer hints that the movie is about the tumultuous period of the 1975 Emergency in India.

The film’s stellar cast includes Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, and Vishak Nair, alongside the late Satish Kaushik. It is directed by Kangana Ranaut.

The film delves into various historical events of the time, such as the Emergency, the Shimla Agreement, the Khalistan movement, and the JP movement.

Kangana Ranaut has earlier revealed that ‘Emergency’ will hit theaters worldwide on September 6, 2024.

It is produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films.
