Doctors Remove Knife, Nail Cutter, Key Ring from Youth’s Stomach in Bihar

Patna: Several metal objects, including a small knife, nail cutters and a key ring removed by surgery from the stomach of a 22-year-old youth at a private hospital in Motihari in Bihar.

The youth was complaining severe stomach pain for several days.

The metal objects were taken out from his stomach through surgery on Sunday.

According to the doctors, the youth was undergoing psychiatric treatment. X-ray reports revealed the presence of metal objects in his stomach.

The items removed from his stomach included a key ring, two keys, a four-inch long knife and two nail cutters. The youth told the doctors that he recently started swallowing metal objects. Now the youth is alright and his condition is improving.
