7 Teachers Among 8 Killed In Separate Firing Incidents in Pakistan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: In separate shooting incidents on Thursday in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least eight people—seven of them teachers—were killed, according to Qaisar Abbas, deputy medical superintendent of the district headquarters hospital.

According to Abbas, the first shooting incident occurred at Shalozan Road and resulted in one fatality.

Shortly after, seven teachers were killed in a second shooting incident at a school, which was reportedly about six kilometres away from Shalozan Road.

The unidentified shooter remains to be at large.

Police have not yet made an official statement regarding the incident.
