Imran Khan to be arrested anytime: case filed under the Prevention of Terrorism Act

The arrest of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan can happen at any moment. A case has been filed against him under the Anti-Terrorism Act. In addition, a case has been filed against Imran for threatening the senior judge. It is suspected that he can be arrested anytime. On the other hand, his allies and PTI supporters have taken to the streets to protest.

According to the information, PTI Chairman Imran Khan was accused of threatening officials while addressing a public meeting in Islamabad. Earlier, Pakistan’s electronic media watchdog blocked the live broadcast of Imran Khan’s speech. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) said that Imran Khan’s recorded speech allowed broadcasting after all checks were done.
