Berlin: Around 1,000 people who identify as dogs gathered in Berlin for a unique meetup. The event triggered mixed reactions online, with some expressing support and curiosity, while others mocked and criticized the participants.
A viral video showed attendees communicating through barking and whistling. Some comments reflected scepticism and criticism, while others were humorous. One intriguing question emerged: why did participants wear masks?

This unconventional gathering follows the viral fame of Toco, a Japanese man who lives out his lifelong aspiration of becoming a dog with a $14,000 hyper-realistic suit.
Experts urge a clear distinction between “therians,” people who identify as non-human creatures, and “furries,” individuals who enjoy cosplaying in animal suits. Some therians believe in their souls being connected to animals.
It’s important to note that while some furries may also identify as therians and vice versa, these are distinct groups with their own unique characteristics and interests.
