Pet Dog Chews Groom’s passport, Bride to Attend Wedding Alone

Donato Frattaroli’s passport was chewed away by his Golden Retriever, Chickie, a few days before his wedding scheduled to be held in Italy on August 31, reported the New York Post.

So, he’ll be unable to leave for Italy along with her fiancé immediately. His fiancé Magda Mazri and wedding guests will leave for Italy without him.

Frattaroli is now trying to get a replacement passport from US authorities. He and his would-be wife have sought help from local officials to resolve this passport predicament.

Their departure to Italy will start this Friday. Frattaroli said that if he can’t get a passport before the flight, he’ll have to stay home while his fiancee and wedding guests will head to Italy without him.

There’s also a possibility of rejoining the celebration when they return to the United States if the passport issue persists.
