Trump Agrees to Debate With Kamala Harris on Sept 4 on Fox News

Former US president and the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has agreed to debate with Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on September 4 on Fox News.

“I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

It is not yet clear whether Harris has agreed to the debate or not.

Trump’s post followed the nomination of Harris as Democratic party’s presidential candidate.

President Biden, 81, facing growing concerns about his age and lagging polling numbers, on July 21 withdrew his candidacy and backed Harris.

Biden had a disastrous debate performance against Trump in June on CNN.

A second Trump-Biden televised debate had been scheduled for September 10 on ABC television.

In his post Trump gave details of the debate venue and the moderators, saying that it would be held before a full audience.
