US Man Fights With Mountain Lion to Save 5-Year-Old Son

A brave man fought with a mountain lion to save the life of his five-year-old son during a Labor Day picnic at Malibu Creek State Park in California in the US.

According to a report by KTLA5, this incident occurred at around 4.30 pm on Sunday. At least six adults and several children were at the picnic when a mountain lion caught the 5-year-old boy by the head and started to run.

Hearing the scream, the child’s father grabbed the mountain lion with his hands and fought with it. The mountain lion was compelled to let go the child.

About 40 people witnessed the dangerous incident.

The mountain lion is also known as cougar, panther, or puma. It can be more than 8 feet long and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds.
