With 93.5 Lakh Pilgrims Vaishno Devi Registers Highest Visitors in a Decade

Jammu: Over 93.50 pilgrims have already visited the Vaishno Devi cave shrine till now in 2023. It is the highest number of visitors to the shrine in a decade.

According to the Vaishno Devi shrine authorities, the official figure of pilgrims visiting the temple crossed 93.50 lakh on Monday (Dec 25). It was the highest figure in the past 10 years as the number surpassed the 2013 figure of 93.24 lakh.

But in 2012, the highest number of 1,04,09,569 devotees visited this cave shrine, followed by 1,01,15,647 in 2011.

At present around 37,000 to 44,000 pilgrims visit the shrine every day. It is expected that this figure will reach 50,000 by the end of the year.
