4 Powerful IEDs Planted by Maoists Discovered During Anti-Naxal Op in Jharkhand

Ranchi: Four powerful IEDs were unearthed during an anti-Naxal operation in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district on Sunday. The IEDs were planted by Maoists to target security forces.

The explosives planted by the Maoists were discovered during a combing operation by the personnel of CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguar and district armed police in Maoist infested forests near villages bordering the Tonto and Goilkera police stations areas.

Each of the IEDs weighed 5 kg. They were defused at the spot by the bomb disposal squad.
