Delhi-San Francisco Air India Flight Diverted to Russia Following Engine Glitch

New Delhi: An Air India flight travelling from Delhi to San Francisco encountered a technical glitch in one of its engines, prompting the aircraft to be diverted to Russia. The flight, carrying 216 passengers and 16 crew members, landed safely at Magadan Airport in Russia.

Upon landing, the aircraft was immediately subjected to mandatory checks on the ground. Air India released a statement affirming that the passengers have been provided with all necessary support and assistance during their time on the ground.

In order to minimize the inconvenience caused to the passengers, the airline is working to provide alternate options for reaching their intended destination as soon as possible. These arrangements are being made to ensure the passengers can resume their travel plans without significant delays.

The flight, which departed from Delhi at 4:23 am today, experienced an unexpected disruption due to the technical issue. The safety and well-being of the passengers and crew remained the airline’s utmost priority throughout the entire incident.
