Anurag Thakur Launches Scathing Attack On Sisodia; Calls Kejriwal Kingpin

New Delhi: After the CBI conducted raids at the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and termed him the number one accused in the Excise policy scam, Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday hit out at the former and called Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as the kingpin.

Manish Sisodia held a press conference earlier in the day where he denied the allegations against him and said he was being targeted for holding a post in Kejriwal’s cabinet.

Anurag Thakur slammed Sisodia and said, “Today’s press conference clearly showed how the colour on his face was gone after his scam. He couldn’t even answer any questions.” Thakur also challenged Arvind Kejriwal to “come in front of the nation and answer me within 24 hours”.

He took a dig at Manish Sisodia and said the Delhi education minister might have changed the spelling of his name to “M O N E Y SHH” as he only makes money and keeps silent.

Earlier on Friday too, Anurag Thakur attacked Arvind Kejriwal and said the Delhi government provided free water, electricity and ration to Rohingyas and distributed ‘revdis’ to them.

Thakur said, “Rohingyas who live here and are illegal migrants are given free water, electricity, ration; now even flats are to be given to them by the Delhi government… they have lied again, distributed ‘Revdis’… why could he (CM Kejriwal) not ready detention centers.”
