Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) To Be Held In 242 Districts Across Nation on Jan 9

New Delhi: The Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) will be conducted in 242 districts around the nation on the 9th of January. According to the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry, the mela has invited a number of regional enterprises, corporations, and organisations to participate.

The participating organisations will have a special opportunity to choose the apprentices at the Mela. Candidates who are class five to Class 12th pass-outs and have skill training certificates, or ITI Diploma holders or graduates can apply for this apprenticeship mela.

Individuals can register for the mela on the website www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and find the mela’s nearest location. The Ministry has instructed the applicants to bring three copies of their résumé, transcripts, and diplomas, along with a photo ID and three passport-size photos, to the designated locations.

Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Ministry stated on PMNAM that knowledge and skills are what propel a nation’s economic and social development.

According to him, the government is attempting to create an adaptable and competent workforce through apprenticeship programmes with the hope that it will boost India’s economic growth.
