BJP Launches Poster Attack on Arvind Kejriwal Amid Mega AAP Rally

New Delhi: During a massive rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, protesting against the Centre’s ordinance on services, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a campaign targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal both online and offline.

The BJP’s official Twitter account shared a poster inspired by a recent movie called ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai,’ mocking the AAP chief. The poster, tweeted in Hindi, stated, “Just one guy is enough to destroy Delhi – Name is Kejriwal.”

In addition to the online campaign, the BJP strategically placed placards on Delhi’s roads next to AAP posters at the rally. One of the BJP placards questioned the cost of Kejriwal’s house renovation, which was claimed to be Rs 45 crore, emphasizing that it was taxpayer money. Another placard demanded a glimpse of AAP’s alleged palace worth Rs 45 crore.

These taunts from the BJP refer to their accusation that Arvind Kejriwal lives an extravagant lifestyle comparable to Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The BJP presented pictures and videos of Kejriwal’s renovated home, showcasing a two-storey bungalow with lavish features such as white columns, marble floors, fancy lighting, and automatic doors.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) responded by stating that the BJP was attempting to divert attention from important issues by focusing on this matter. The AAP rally, which included Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and was expected to draw more than one lakh participants, was heavily secured by paramilitary forces and the local police.
