Editor of News Portal Arrested For Demanding Sexual Favours

Noida: A news portal editor allegedly involved in immoral harassment of a woman was arrested by police from Noida Sector 20. The news portal editor had allegedly demanded sexual favours from the woman.

The accused, identified as Wasim Ahmed is a resident of a neighbourhood close to Noida Sub Mall.

The woman, who works for a consultancy firm, was subjected to harassment and threats from Ahmed, who threatened to have her fired if she refused to bow down to his demands.

Additionally, he disreputed her in front of her friends.

The woman had filed a complaint against Ahmed on November 14 alleging that he was mistreating her and requesting sexual favours. She claimed that he was also threatening her and demanding money.
