Enraged Employee Shoots Boss For Sacking Him 6 Months Back

Noida: A former employee of a Noida-based BPO shot his manager in the chest. The victim had reportedly fired the accused from his job.

The victim, identified as Sadrul Islam is still in serious condition in the ICU.

Anoop Singh, a resident of Delhi’s Ashok Nagar, worked at NSB, a BPO in Noida Sector 2, as a data entry operator, according to the police.

Singh was sacked by the company’s circle head Islam six months ago due to his unprofessional behaviour at work. A month back Singh had asked Islam for a reappointment.  But Islam had declined his plea.

Singh visited Islam’s office on Wednesday night and a brawl broke out between the two after which Singh pulled out a gun and fired at Islam.

Islam had serious chest injuries and was taken to Kailash hospital, where his condition is still critical.

Meanwhile, Police teams have launched a manhunt to nab Singh, who has been on the run since the incident.
