Five Points | India’s First Real-Time Gold ATM In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Buying gold will be as easy as taking out money from an ATM machine. Yes, because an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) will now dispense gold coins to its customers.

It seems to be an unbelievable one but Goldsikka company with technical support from Hyderabad-based startup, Opencube Technologies has launched its first Gold ATM in Begumpet.

This ATM is claimed to be the country’s first real-time gold dispensing machine. Earlier, Arab countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE had also installed gold ATMs for dispense of gold coins.

“We proudly announce that we have successfully launched Gold ATM and, through this achievement, we unleash the unstoppable journey to make Bharat Sone ki Chidiya phir se, and contribute to the mission of Bangaru Telangana,” the firm said in a Twitter post.

This ATM can dispense gold coins in different denominations ranging from 0.5 gm to 100 grams and according to Sy Taruj, CEO of Goldsikka, customers can use their debit or credit card to buy gold coins of different denominations.
