India-Aus Free Trade Agreement To Be Effective From Dec 29: Commerce Min Piyush Goyal

New Delhi: The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and Australia will come into effect on the 29th of December, 2022.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal stated that discussions towards a free trade agreement are currently taking place with the European Union, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Further, the world, he claimed, views India as a reliable partner.
