India Reports 157 Fresh COVID Cases in Last 24 Hours

New Delhi: A total of 157 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.8 per cent.

India presently has 3,421 active cases, or 0.01 per cent, of the global total.

According to the Union Health Ministry, nearly 49,000 COVID-19 tests were performed in the last 24 hrs. The nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign has so far resulted in the administration of more than 220 crore vaccine doses in the nation.
