Jan Suraaj Party of Prashant Kishor Will Contest All 243 Seats in Bihar Assembly Polls

Patna: Poll consultant–turned–politician Prashant Kishor’s proposed Jan Suraaj party would contest all the 243 seats in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

Kishor made this announcement on Sunday adding that at least 40 seats would be contested by women candidates of his party.

The Jan Suraaj party is expected to be formed on October 2 to coincide with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

According to Kishor, they have started a campaign to train around 70 to 80 women and turn them into leaders.

Kishor spoke to reporters at a meeting of women connected with the Jan Suraaj campaign in Patna.
