LPG Cylinder Blast in West Bengal: 4 Family Members Critically Injured

Jhargram: A devastating incident unfolded in West Bengal’s Jhargram district on Saturday as a domestic LPG cylinder explosion critically injured four members of a family. The incident occurred at their residence in Harina village, within the jurisdiction of Lalgarh police station, while they were preparing a meal.

According to police officials, the victims, identified as Khandubala Goswami (70), Sulekha Goswami (45), Seema Goswami (32), and Papan Goswami (22), were immediately rescued and rushed to Medinipur Medical College and Hospital. Their current condition remains critical, and high-ranking officials have already visited the scene to assess the situation.

This incident underscores the potential dangers associated with LPG cylinders and emphasizes the crucial need to adhere to strict safety measures during their use. Local authorities have initiated a thorough investigation to determine the precise cause of the explosion and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
