WATCH: Lucknow Salon Worker Arrested for Using ‘Spit’ to Massage Customer’s Face

Lucknow: A recent incident at a salon in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, has stirred outrage after a customer discovered through CCTV footage that a staff member had used spit while massaging his face.

The customer, Pandit Ashish Kumar from Unnao grew suspicious of the barber, identified as Zaid, prompting him to review the salon’s surveillance recordings. Shockingly, the footage confirmed Zaid spitting on his hand and using it to massage Kumar’s face.

Following the discovery, Kumar filed a complaint at Sushant Golf City police station. Subsequently, Zaid was arrested and taken into custody, facing charges under relevant sections based on Kumar’s FIR.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Shashank Singh, confirmed the arrest and mentioned that Zaid will now be in judicial custody.

The CCTV footage, initially shared on social media platforms, quickly went viral, with users expressing strong disgust and calling for stricter hygiene standards in salons. Despite the widespread reaction, the salon involved has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
