Militants Resort to Second Drone Attack in 2 Days in Manipur, Woman injured

Imphal: Suspected militants launched another bomb attack using a drone in Manipur’s Imphal West district on Monday. A 23-year-old woman was injured in this drone attack.

This is the second drone attack in two days. On Sunday, a similar dropping of bomb and gun attack occurred at Koutruk, where two persons were killed and nine others injured.

On Monday evening, the drone used for the attack dropped at least two explosives at Senjam Chirang injuring a woman, police sources said. The militants also fired indiscriminately at the Sejam Chirang village from a hilltop. It was retaliated by security forces.
