Music Event Turns Tragic in Bihar As Tin Roof With Hundreds of Spectators Collapses

Patna: A music event at the Mahavir Mela in Chhapra’s Isuapur area in Bihar took a tragic turn when a tin roof collapsed, injuring several persons.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night, when hundreds of spectators crowded onto a makeshift tin roof. Unable to bear the weight, the tin structure suddenly collapsed and the onlookers fell on the crowd gathered below.

This mishap occurred while the crowd danced and jumped to the music.

The sudden collapse triggered a stampede-like situation in the area. Amid the chaos, several people sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

Local police were quickly informed of the incident, and officers from two police stations arrived for rescue operation. At least 10 of the injured are in critical condition.
