PM Modi to Flag Off Ranchi-Patna Vande Bharat Express via Video Conferencing Tomorrow

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to flag off the highly anticipated Vande Bharat Express, a state-of-the-art train connecting Ranchi and Patna. The inaugural ceremony will take place via video conferencing tomorrow, marking a significant milestone for the two states of Jharkhand and Bihar. With its efficient operations, the train will cover the 379 km distance in approximately six hours, providing improved connectivity between Patna and Ranchi.

Departing from Patna at 7 AM, train number 22349 will reach Ranchi by 1 PM, making stops at Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribag, Barkakana, and Mesra, catering to tourists, students, and businessmen. The return journey, train number 22350, will depart from Ranchi at 4:15 PM and arrive in Patna at 10:05 PM. Operating six days a week, the Vande Bharat Express offers a convenient travel option, excluding Tuesdays.

This new train service is expected to enhance connectivity, benefiting tourists, students, and businessmen. It provides easier access to attractions in Ranchi and Patna, facilitates commuting for educational purposes, and offers improved trade and collaboration opportunities.
